The palace's architectural form and its mud construction is a stunning harmony with the features of the heritage houses for which the region was known in the past. It comprises 12 rooms of varying sizes, carefully designed to accommodate the diversity of the displayed collectibles. This invites visitors to journey through diverse vignettes of local heritage.
This museum contains more than 3,000 heritage pieces, arranged in the palace's corners in a manner that highlights their authenticity and clarifies their functions in daily life.
The museum's collectibles include groups of irrigation tools, cooking utensils, incense burners, millstones for grinding and crushing grains, together with farming and plowing tools. These tools paint a vivid portrait of residents' lives and their daily pursuits in bygone eras.
The museum also houses a collection of old school and educational tools, symbolic of school settings at that time. Additionally, it features various models of traditional men's and women's clothing, as well as jewelry and women's accessories. This completes the image the museum presents regarding the lifestyles in Al-Qassim over the past decades.
