Located in Sabya City, Jazan Museum for Antiquities and Heritage is a state-operated museum. It houses archaeological and heritage exhibits from across Jazan’s region, combining modern technology with a historical spirit to highlight Jazan's rich heritage.

Jazan Museum for Antiquities and Heritage is a historical and civilizational entity, recognized as a significant cultural landmark in Jazan. Its location Sabya City, adjacent to the Al-Adaresah archaeological site, imparts significant value as a link between the present era and the region's ancient history.

It is the sole state museum in Jazan, and one of a series of museums established by the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums in several regions of the Kingdom. It was officially inaugurated in 1416 AH (1995 CE), forming essential centers for preserving and documenting the Kingdom's heritage ever since.

With its diverse exhibits, this museum embodies a vivid image of Jazan region's heritage spanning the ages. Its halls contain various archaeological and heritage artifacts collected from different, regional sites, alongside numerous maps and explanatory drawings displayed using the latest museum exhibition methods, harmonizing modern technology and the historical spirit of the place.

The museum building includes supporting departments, namely: Administration and Staff Section, Surveying Section, Photography Section, Drawing Section, Restoration Section, Library, Reception Hall, and Halls for Seminars, Lectures, and Cinematic Screenings.

The museum also fulfils a scientific function, serving as a center for archaeological research and studies conducted in the region, thereby becoming a nexus for researchers and individuals interested in the area’s history and antiquities.
