Al-Ablaq Palace is an ancient palace situated in the southwestern part of the city of Tayma. Its area is estimated at 0.25 km², and it remains buried under the sand and soil that cover the entire region.
This palace was known as the Ablaq Fortress and Al-Ablaq Al-Fard. It was named Al-Ablaq (meaning multicolored) due to the presence of white and red colors in its walls, which distinguished it from other archaeological buildings.
The Agency of Antiquities and Museums has surrounded it with a wall for protection, as it is considered one of the most important and largest archaeological sites in Tayma Governorate. It has historical and architectural value that reflects the depth of civilization in the region.
