Wadi al-Aqiq Dam, located northeast of al-Baha, is considered one of the most prominent water facilities in the region.
Its storage capacity reaches 22.5 million cubic meters, supplying water to the residents of al-Baha and Baljurashi, as well as a network of wells.
Wadi al-Aqiq Dam was established in 1408 AH / 1988 AD, situated 45 km northeast of al-Baha and Wadi al-Aqiq.
The dam's storage capacity is 22.5 million cubic meters; it measures 175 m in length and 30m in height, emerging as a significant water structure in the region.
It was constructed to provide potable water for the residents of the city of al-Baha, Baljurashi, Bani Kabir, and Bani Saad.
It also supplies water to 10 wells in one area, reflecting its vital role in supporting the daily lives of local communities and enhancing the sustainability of water resources in the region.
