Ikrimah Dam, situated in the upper reaches of Wadi al-Mathnah in Taif Governorate, is attributed to Ikrimah, the client of the noble Companion Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them).The structure is a masonry-faced concrete dam, measuring 290 meters in length and 11 meters in height, with a storage capacity estimated at 500,000 cubic meters.The dam was constructed to protect the city of Taif from flash-flood hazards, while also enhancing water security and strengthening local water resources.
