The White Village Between Quartz Rocks and Tihamah Farms
Al-Baha
Dhee Ayn Village is located 24 km southwest of Al-Baha City, and east of Wadi Rash, northeast of Al-Makhwah. It sits atop a high mound of white quartz rocks, giving it a view similar to an iceberg peak, which captures visitors' attention and inspires their admiration.
The village houses are characterized by the careful arrangement of white marble stones without mortar, featuring short doors and narrow windows, reflecting the traditional defensive building style. High mountains surround it from the north, south, and east, while it connects from the west to Tihamah banana and palm farms, and Al-Kadhi (pandanus) plants, in addition to the water spring after which the village was named.
The village is famous for its moderate winters, making it a popular winter tourist destination for visitors wishing to enjoy its breathtaking natural scenery and unique architectural landmarks, and to experience traditional life in Tihamah.
