It is an archaeological site located between Mount Khushrub and Mount Al-Ahdab, east of Makkah. It includes a large rock inscribed with early Islamic inscriptions dating back to the first and second centuries of the Hijra, including an inscription bearing the name of Mus'ab ibn Shaybah, the Custodian of the Kaaba.

Khalifah Rock

With an area of about 8 square kilometer, Shibara is a natural island located about 17 km offshore, northwest of Umluj (Tabuk region). Its area is estimated to be about 8 square kilometers. The island features pristine beaches and clearly visible coral reefs. This clarity is due to the purity of the surrounding waters.

It features two cemeteries, fragments of pottery and glass, ruins of buildings made with Manqabi stone, and the foundations of a mosque.
